An Indonesian citizen was murdered in Germany

Sedan – An Indonesian woman (WNI) with the initials YCH was found dead in her home in Germany. The Indonesian national is said to have been murdered by her husband. Information about the death of the 34-year-old woman was obtained by the Indonesian Consulate General in Frankfurt from the police in Furstenfeldbruck, Bavaria on July 11, 2024, or two days after her body was found.

“There are suspicions that YCH was the victim of murder. The police have conducted an autopsy and are still investigating the incident,” Judha Nugraha, director of protection of Indonesian citizens and BHI at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told Antara on Monday, July 15, 2024.

Local media also reported that YCH was murdered by her foreign husband. YCH’s husband later committed suicide.
