Ben Stiller returns to acting with ‘Nutcrackers’


With the independent film nutcracker (The Nutcracker(in Spanish), actor Ben Stiller returns to acting after seven years without having starred in a film since 2017.

“This movie took place in an area where it was literally the only time I could have made it,” Stiller said in an interview with Variety And then he added: “A few months later, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it.”

During the chat with the aforementioned media outlet, the actor and producer admitted that he never thought he would take so much time away from acting. “It wasn’t intentional; it was just the way things evolved,” he added.

For his part, David Gordon Green, the film’s director, said that he warned Stiller about the shooting conditions: “When I called Ben, I said: ‘I hope you don’t have any allergies, because there are every imaginable animal running around here,'” he said.
