Only IDR 500,000 was paid, because the former Fuji director ran away with IDR 1.3 billion.

Jakarta – The West Jakarta Metropolitan Police published a case of alleged embezzlement of IDR 1.3 million reported by Fuji against its former manager Batara on July 11, 2024.

West Jakarta Metropolitan Police Anti-Crime Division (AKP) chief Tomi Kurniawan said the criminal, who was identified as a suspect, admitted that he was attracted by the large amount of money Fuji received at the beginning.

In his statement on Thursday, July 11, 2024, Tommy Kurniawan said: “Seeing the profits earned by Sister FU and her salary, which was not that good, she finally succumbed to temptation.”

Tommy also revealed the amount of salary Batara received when he was a manager at Fuji, which is IDR 500 thousand per month.

“According to Sister FU’s statements, Brother BA receives IDR 500,000 monthly. But if there is a cooperation agreement, BA will receive 5 to 10 percent of the income from this agreement,” Tomi said.

Tomi said there was no dispute between Batara and Fuji during his tenure as manager. The alleged embezzlement was based solely on financial motivations and the offender’s frustration with the victim.

“Actually, the personal relationship of sisters FU and BA was that they first met through sister FU’s brother, and then signed a cooperation agreement. There was no dispute, this was a purely economic crime,” he said.

The former Fuji director is understood to have used the allegedly embezzled money worth IDR 1.3 billion to pay for a house and a car.

“Following the murder of BA’s brother, it became clear that BA “used the funds he acquired to pay for the apartment and the balance of the car, in addition to this, for daily needs,” he said.
