Multiple sexual assaults have been reported at UC Berkeley

According to school officials, there have been recent incidents of alcohol-related sexual assault at UC Berkeley.

According to a WarnMe message sent to the community on Tuesday, the incident occurred on College Avenue on Friday around 11:55 p.m. Warning It is an emergency notification system to send alerts from the city police.

According to the post, there are numerous cases of “drug-related sexual assault and intoxication-aggravated assault.” The alleged abuse occurred at a residence on College Avenue and was recently reported to the school.

School officials said the incidents occurred off-campus and are being investigated by the Berkeley Police Department, which declined to provide further details about the incident, including whether the apartment was occupied by students. At least one fraternity and one off-campus house are located on College Avenue.
