Toyota Rush cement truck nearly falls into the sea due to brake failure

Situbondo, LONG LIVE – Viral on social media, a Fuso truck filled with cement almost pushed the Toyota Rush into the sea at Anchor Harbor, Situbondo, East Java, Friday, September 20, 2024.

In a video posted on the Instagram account @memomedsos, a Mitsubishi Fuso truck with the license plate AE 8188 UY, which was loaded with cement and asbestos, suddenly rolled backwards as it left the ferry.

The truck, which was inadvertently reversing, immediately shouted to the locals to immediately move away from the unfortunate vehicle.

“The brake failed, the brake failed, the brake failed, get your life jackets ready,” people around the truck shouted.

However, behind the truck was a white Toyota Rush, which inadvertently backed up, then hit and pushed Rush’s car, which almost fell into the sea.

Fortunately, the truck was stopped when it hit the support bridge on the way up and back from the ferry, only half of its body almost fell into the sea.

Several people on the scene then helped rescue the passengers from the Toyota Rush. However, there is no further information on whether or not there was any loss of life as a result of this accident.
