According to the transaction data from September 17 to 19, 2024, non-residents recorded a net purchase of IDR 25.60 trillion, according to the head of BI Communications Department.
“It consists of net purchases of IDR 4.19 trillion in the stock market, IDR 19.76 trillion in the SBN market and IDR 1.66 trillion in Bank Indonesia Rupiah Securities (SRBI),” Erwin said in a statement on Friday, September 20, 2024.

“The Indonesian 5-year CDS premium through Sept. 19, 2024 was 63.41 bps, a significant decrease from Sept. 13, 2024 of 67.46 bps,” he said.
Meanwhile, during 2024, based on settlement data up to 19 September 2024, non-residents made net purchases worth IDR 51.85 trillion in the stock market, IDR 21.39 trillion in the SBN market and IDR 186.85 trillion in the SRBI.
Then, according to settlement data until September 19, 2024 in the second half of 2024, non-residents recorded net purchases of IDR 51.51 trillion in the stock market, IDR 55.34 trillion in the SBN market and IDR 56.50 trillion in the SRBI.
“Bank Indonesia will continue to strengthen coordination with the government and related authorities and optimize policy mix strategies to support the external stability of the Indonesian economy,” he said.
