Megyn Kelly believes Kamala Harris and Oprah Winfrey’s town hall meeting was a publicity stunt.
The SiriusXM host told her audience on “The Megyn Kelly Show” on Friday that while she “loved” Oprah as a child, what she saw during her conversation with the vice president on Thursday called that affection into question.
“Before I was a journalist, I never thought about whether Oprah was trying to trick me,” Kelly said. “So last night I realized and I was like, ‘Oh my God, she’s not a reporter. She’s a propagandist trying to ram down my throat everything she believes that’s not the truth.’”

Kelly later continued: “Oprah is not in the business of keeping up with the news anymore. I bet she didn’t even watch the damn debate. She’s obviously reading the blue cards her staff gave her on The Oprah Winfrey Show. She’s not even reading how it happened. Oprah doesn’t have to think about her questions.”
Kelly left after her appearance on Oprah. She attributed the legendary daytime host’s big loss to missing a step or two while commanding the crowd. Kelly said the early buzz of her career has faded, adding, “I miss fat Oprah.”
“Now this skinny Ozemic Oprah, along with the pounds, has lost her heart and her true sense of self,” he said.
Thursday’s Oprah Town Talk was a star-studded affair. Other celebrities included Bryan Cranston, Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jennifer Lopez and Julia Roberts.
Meryl Streep came in to chat with Harris and casually began by saying, “Hi, President Harris!” The vice president responded with a smile, “47 days!”
