Jakarta, VIVA – The chairman of the PPD PDI Perjuangan (PDIP), Puan Maharani, confirmed that the meeting between the President General of the PDIP, Megawati Soekarnoputri, and the Indonesian presidential candidate for 2024-2029, Prabowo Subianto, will be held as soon as possible.

Puan said the timing of the meeting between Megawati and Prabowo is still waiting for the right time. He also referred to Prabowo, who will be sworn in as President of the Republic of Indonesia on October 20, 2024.
“Of course, as soon as possible, God willing, there will be a meeting,” Puan told reporters at the Shangri-La Hotel in Central Jakarta on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Party Secretary General Gerindra Ahmad Muzani said on September 9 in Jakarta that a meeting between Prabowo Subianto and Megawati Soekarnoputri will be held in the near future.
Asked when exactly it will be held, Muzany declined to give a precise answer. He only said that the meeting should take place before Prabowo’s inauguration as President of the Republic of Indonesia on October 20, 2024.
