Timeline of Friday prayer attacks at Canadian mosques

Montreal, VIVA – Three people were injured as they tried to subdue a knife-wielding man before Friday prayers at a mosque in Montreal, Canada.

A Chateauguay police spokesman said the victims only suffered minor injuries, although one of them had to be taken to hospital for further treatment.

Police said the wounded victim was in his 50s. The victims were able to stop the gunmen before they arrived at the scene.
