The total beneficiaries of KJP Plus Phase I funds were 533,649 students, there were two waves of KJP Plus Phase I payments, the first wave was distributed to 460,143 beneficiaries while the second wave was to 73,506 beneficiaries.

“We apologize for the delay in the payment of KJP Plus funds as the DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office is committed to continuing to ensure the correct payment of social assistance funds in the education sector,” Budi said in an official statement on Friday, July 12, 2024.
It is hoped that the balance of free government funds in the form of KJP Plus can be maximized for the educational needs of children, so that the future of the family can be improved through the success of children in education.
The KJP Plus programme is dynamic in nature and adapts to the economic conditions of the community so that the number of beneficiaries changes depending on the social status and economic income of the beneficiaries, which are updated periodically.
The identification of the recipient is always assessed and verified by involving a joint team consisting of several relevant parties, such as the Civil and Population Registration Service, the Child Protection and Population Control Service (PPAPP), the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), and the DKI Region Social Service (Dinsos).
In conclusion, Plt. Head of DKI Jakarta Regional Education Service hopes that KJP Plus social assistance funds can improve the quality of human resources, especially Jakarta residents.
“With superior human resources, the dignity of the nation can be raised to a golden Indonesia in 2024. The PPDB is over, now the teaching and learning process has begun, we congratulate the students who have been accepted into the schools of their respective choices. To achieve this, continue to succeed in your dreams,” said Budi.
Requirements for KJP Plus recipients
- Students between the ages of 6 (six) and 21 (twenty-one) years.
- Enrolled as a student in a public or private education department in DKI Jakarta
- Have a population registration number as a resident of DKI Jakarta and live in DKI Jakarta
- Meet one of the special criteria as a social assistance recipient: Children in social institutions, children with disabilities, and children with disabilities are registered in the consolidated data on social protection (DTKS); Children of Yaklingco drivers who drive microtransm, children of Jakarta Worker Card recipients; or Out-of-school children (OUTS) who have returned to school.
