Jakpro subsidiary collaborates with DPLK Syariah Muamalat to provide pension program


Jakarta – Syariah Muamalat Financial Institution Pension Fund (DPLK) cooperates with PT Jakarta Utilitas Propertindo, a subsidiary of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) or Jakpro, a business entity owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

Executive Director DPLK Syariah Muamalat Wang Wardhana said the cooperation focused on the provision of the pension program. The ceremony or inauguration of the collaboration was held on Thursday (7/11) at the Muamalat Tower, Jakarta.

“We have designed a program that provides maximum benefits after the term expires, so that participants feel secure and prepared to face retirement,” he said in a statement in Jakarta, Friday, July 12, 2024.

Wang explained that this partnership is specifically designed to provide retirement benefits to executives. Of course, the proposed program is managed on the basis of Shariah principles, with a choice of retirement age and investment packages that can be tailored to the participant’s mandate.

According to Wang, the eligible participants in this program are company leaders such as directors and commissioners. The duration of membership is adjusted to the term of office of the participant.

For reference, DPLK Syariah Muamalat’s net assets reached IDR 1.7 trillion in the first quarter of 2024, supported by increased customer engagement as well as investment portfolio optimization with growth. return The investment is around 6.5 percent.

DPLK Syariah Muamalat’s after-tax business results for the same period reached IDR 23 billion, or an increase of 36.6 percent compared to last year. This reflects operational efficiency and an effective investment strategy.

As of March 31, 2024, the number of DPLK Syariah Muamalat customers reached around 71 thousand retail customers and around 51 thousand corporate customers. Meanwhile, customer growth this year will reach 10 percent.
