Germany – The UEFA Referees Committee has officially appointed Francois Letexier as referee for the 2024 European Cup final between Spain and England on Monday 15 July 2024 in the early hours of the morning WIB.

The 35-year-old is known to Indonesian football fans as a controversial referee for his decision to cost the Indonesian U-23 team the play-off for the 2024 Paris Olympics when they faced Guinea on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
At the time, many of Letexier’s decisions were considered controversial, angering coach Shin Tae-yong.
