‘Dexter: Original Sin’ Adds 3, Baby Dexter and Young Camille Figg | Exclusive


“Dexter: Original Sin” Rounding out its cast are Eli Sherman, London Thatcher and Sarah Kinsey added to the prequel series, TheWrap can exclusively reveal.

Eli Sherman will be playing Dexter as a young child, meaning the series will officially bring together three different versions of the serial killer; Patrick Gibson is, of course, the series lead as young adult Dexter, and OG Dexter Morgan Michael C. Hall is returning to lend his voiceover to the series.

Sarah Kinsey will also be a familiar face to “Dexter” fans, as she takes on the role of Camille Figg, a Miami Metro archives clerk and one of Harry Morgan’s closest confidants. The figure was played by Margot Martindale in the original series.

Meanwhile, London Thatcher will be played by Nicky Spencer, son of Captain Aaron Spencer (Patrick Dempsey).

Dexter: Original Sin is set in 1991 and follows Dexter (Gibson) as he transitions from student to vengeful serial killer.

According to the official synopsis, “When his bloodthirsty impulses can no longer be ignored, Dexter must control his inner darkness. With the guidance of his father, Harry (Christian Slater), he adopts a Code that helps him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society.” he will be eliminated without going unnoticed by the authorities. This is a special challenge for young Dexter as he begins his forensic internship with the Miami Metropolitan Police Department.

In addition to Gibson and Slater, Molly Brown will play Deb, Dexter’s sister, played by Jennifer Carpenter in the original series. James Martinez, Christina Milian, Alex Shimizu and Reno Wilson also star in the series, with Sarah Michelle Gellar making a special guest appearance.

“Dexter: The Original Cinema” premieres Friday, December 13 for Paramount+ subscribers with Showtime.
