Eric Menendez Gives 'Devastating Character Portrayal' On Netflix's Monsters: 'Isn't Truth Enough?'

Eric Menendez, who along with his older brother Lyle was convicted of murdering their parents in 1989, called Ryan Murphy’s storytelling in the Netflix limited series “Monsters” “inaccurate” and accused Murphy of “malicious intent.”

Eric, played in the series by Cooper Koch, sent a message to Lyle’s Lyle. Facebook page on Friday, where he lamented another adaptation of the infamous orders, which according to him did not conform to the facts.

“I thought we went beyond the lies and destructive portrayals of Lyle’s character and created a caricature of Lyle that was rooted in the show’s ugly, blatant tastes. I just think they did it on purpose. With a heart full of anger. I’m sure Ryan Murphy couldn’t be so simplistic and wrong about the facts of our lives as to do it without malice.”
