Giant functional replica of iPhone 15 created and awarded Guinness World Record for largest smartphone in the world

Arun Maini and Matthew Perks, two YouTube content creators, designed and built a fully functional, gigantic version of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and they claimed the Guinness World Record for the largest smartphone replica ever created.

YouTuber @mrwhosetheboss promised his followers that he would build the “biggest iPhone” if his YouTube subscriber count surpassed Apple’s. He got the number of followers and kept his word.

This is how he joined forces with YouTuber @DIYperks, and together, in three months, they built a larger-scale version of the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

“The massive device is more than 12 times the size of the original and is fully functional as a phone, including a touchscreen keyboard, phone calls, video calls, video playback, music listening and even selfies,” Guinness says of the world record.

The largest smartphone replica measures 2.054 m (6.74 ft) and can play videos and movies in up to 8K resolution at 230 FPS, earning it the important recognition.
