Jennifer Lopez has publicly reunited with ex-husband Ben Affleck for the second time amid the couple’s pending divorce, TMZ reported.
According to TMZ, Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, walked into a school together on Sept. 17. “They were spotted heading to back-to-school night on Tuesday at a Los Angeles-area school where they both have children who attend,” TMZ reported. Harper’s Bazaar He called it a “stealth meeting.”
Sources described the estranged couple to TMZ as “totally cool with each other and very cordial.”

Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, as reported by TMZafter two years of marriage. The separation was dated April 26 and did not use an attorney for the filing, TMZ reported. The divorce filing came after a summer in which the couple spent vacations and important events apart.
However, TMZ reported that its sources insist that despite the school appearance, the divorce is still on.
The school outing is the second time this month that Lopez and Affleck have publicly reunited. According to Page Six, the pair were spotted “kissing” and holding hands when they attended a family brunch together at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck dated, got engaged and then split 20 years ago. In her documentary “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” she described Affleck as the love of her life, though they both admitted that he likes the spotlight less than she does — an area of incompatibility he said he was trying to come to terms with.

A source told Page six that the fact that Jennifer Lopez and Affleck kissed and held hands at brunch “was not planned.”
“Ben and JLo are currently at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel holding hands and kissing. The kids are with them, but at a separate table,” the source told Page Six.
Two of Ben Affleck’s children and Jennifer Lopez’s children were at the brunch, Page Six reported, adding that Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner was also seen leaving that brunch. The two were also seen after the brunch sitting together in a car and having a conversation with tense looks on their faces.
Meanwhile, In touch weekly reported that Affleck’s friend Matt Damon is not thrilled with the way he is treating Jennifer Lopez.
“He’s been in touch with her for the movie release, so he’s on calls with her all the time and she’s been open with him about how much she’s hurting,” a source said, referring to the film “Unstoppable,” which Lopez starred in and which Affleck and Damon’s production company co-produced.
“She’s been trying to reason with Ben to be a little more compassionate about the fact that she’s feeling humiliated right now,” the source told In Touch of Damon.
“He can’t help but feel a lot of sympathy for J. Lo,” the source told In Touch of Damon. “She’s trying to play Switzerland and smooth things over on both sides, but Ben isn’t taking it well at all. To even suggest he was at fault really bothers him. He says if Matt, or anyone else, was in her place, they would have run away from that marriage ten times faster.”
