“Look”: Ana Navarro to politicians who say “there is no place for political violence” – “In what America do these people live?”

Following the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, the host of “The View” once again condemned political violence. But presenter Ana Navarro was not surprised by this and mocked politicians who behaved like them.

On Sunday, a gunman pointed an AK-47 at the former president as he played golf in Palm Beach. Trump was unharmed and the suspected shooter was arrested, prompting politicians including Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz to express relief that the former president was safe.

Other leaders expressed similar sentiments, adding that political violence “has no place” in this country. But this part made Nawar a little angry.

“We condemn it, regardless of who committed it or attempted it. But what kind of America do these people live in that thinks there is no place for political violence?” he asked. “When Gabby Giffords, a congresswoman from Arizona, was shot in the head at an event in her district. When the congressional baseball team shot up.”

“When Nancy Pelosi’s husband had her skull bashed in with a hammer by a political enemy,” Navarro continued. “When we had January 6th, when people stormed and attacked the Capitol. As you know, we’ve now made two different attacks on Donald Trump.”

The host said all these incidents showed that “political violence is now part of” the United States. But he then turned his attention to other recent threats of violence that neither side strongly condemns.

“Let me tell you, Bomb threat in Springfield“I consider it political violence,” he said. “A threat against Taylor Swift because she said that we all have the right to do this. I consider it political violence.”
