Meanwhile, Gibran said, Bahlil still does not know which political party he belongs to.

“In his (Jokowi) family, Mas Kezang is the general chairman of the SEP. Mas Gibran, do you know his party so far? (No), the same as me,” he said.

Indonesian President Jokowi has previously admitted that he feels comfortable with the Golkar party, now led by Bahlil Lahadalia. He said that Golkar itself is cold.

Jokowi said this during his speech at the closing ceremony of the Golkar National Conference at JCC, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Wednesday evening, August 21, 2024.

Jokowi said: “When I see a banyan tree, it is really cool, it is naturally cool. Especially on hot days, it is cool and fresh under the banyan tree. Being under the banyan tree gives us more shade.”
