Bojan was originally introduced in August 2023 by Persib Bandung. The 53-year-old tactician replaced Luis Milla, who resigned as the team’s coach.

Bojan Hodak, despite being a substitute coach, was able to improve Persib’s achievements, which were initially in the top part of the league, and reach the top of the table. Until finally, Persib won the Ligue 1 title in 2023/2024.

“We all know that Persib is a great club, they just won and next year we will play in the AFC. The goal, of course, is to win every game. But I’m sorry, it’s not a pressure for me,” he said.

“The duration of this agreement is two years and we will see,” he added.

Bojan Hodak managed to break records while coaching Persib. He managed to remain unbeaten for 14 consecutive matches.

Bojan was also the first foreign coach to lead Persib to win the Ligue 1 title.
