Jakarta, VIVA – For drivers, don’t be surprised if the toll on Jakarta’s internal highway is more expensive than usual. Because from September 22, 2024, the price of fares within the city has been revised.

This decision is contained in the decree of the Minister of Public Works and Housing (PBP) No. 100. 2130/KPTS/M/2024. And in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 38 of Law No. 38 of 2004 on highways and paragraph 68 of subsection (1) of Government Regulation No. 15 “On Toll Roads of 2005” with the latest amendments of Law No. 17. as of 2021.
The new fee applies to two major toll roads, including the Kawang-Tomang-Pluit section operated by PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, and the Kawang-Tanjung Priok-East Ancol-Jembatan Tiga/Pluit section operated by PT Citra Marga. Nusafala Persada (CMNP) Tbk.

“This tariff adjustment is also necessary as a way to ensure the return on investment for toll road business entities in accordance with the business plan, creating and maintaining a favorable environment for investment in toll roads in Indonesia, as well as maintaining and increasing the level of toll road services,” said Vidiyatmiko Nursejati, Head of Jasamarga Metropolitan Regional Department, in his official statement.

Objective I: IDR 11,000, from IDR 10,500
Target II: IDR 16,500, up from IDR 15,500
Target III: IDR 16,500, up from IDR 15,500
Objective IV: IDR 19,000, from IDR 17,500
Objective V: IDR 19,000, from IDR 17,500
Reasons for the increase in toll prices in Jakarta City in 2024
The changes to the toll rates on the Jakarta National Toll Highway will take effect on 22 September 2024 at 00:00 and will apply to the two main toll highways.
