Jakarta, VIVA – PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) DPP chairman Puan Maharani has spoken about plans for a meeting between PDIP Chairwoman General Megawati Soekarnoputri and the 2024-2029 presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto as a signal for the party to wear the bull symbol and enter the cabinet.

Puan believes that nothing is impossible, even if the PDIP eventually joins Prabowo’s government.
“Nothing is impossible, it is possible,” Puan told reporters at the Shangri-La hotel in central Jakarta on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

On Tuesday, September 17, the Chairman of the Tajik People’s Democratic Party Said Abdullah rejected speculations about the meeting of the President-elect and the Chairman General of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto with the fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia, who is also the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party of the PDIP, Megawati Soekarnoputri, who was the ministerial position that his party was aiming for in the next cabinet.

He also said the impetus for Megavati’s meeting with Prabowo came just days before the president’s inauguration on October 20.
He also called on people not to be too quick to interpret Megavati’s meeting with Prabowo as a sign that his party is joining the Prabowo-Gibran coalition government.
