Husband killed Siri’s wife in Bekasi

Bekasi, Long Live – A 46-year-old man with the initials AS was considered a suspect in the murder case that occurred in Pondok Gede, Bekasi City.

The victim Ariyovan (36) died due to the insult of AS, the husband of Sumarni (34), a woman with whom the victim had a relationship.

According to police testimony, the main motivation for the US brutal act was jealousy.

Compol Dwi explained that the incident began on May 22, 2024 when Ariyavan took Sumarni.

“The main thing is jealousy,” Dwee said in a statement on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

The unfaithful couple were then living in a rented house in Jalan Wisma Ratu, Jati Makmur Village, Pondok Gede District, Bekas Town.

The next day, at around 06.30 WIB, the Americans arrived at the rental location.

He came with his cousin Sumarni. As soon as they arrived at the spot, the US immediately attacked Ariyawan who was having breakfast.

After kicking the victim, AS hit Ariyovan with a knife in his hand.

Police Commissioner Dwee added that the criminal stabbed several parts of the victim’s body, leading to his death.

Local residents who witnessed the incident immediately rushed Ariyawan to the National Police Hospital in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, but his life could not be saved.

Meanwhile, AS was arrested at the scene and police confiscated the knife used in the murder as evidence.

“The criminal was caught at the scene of the crime,” Dwee explained.

For this action, AS was charged with intentional homicide under Article 340 or an alternative to Article 338 and paragraph 3 of Article 351 of the Penal Code.

The punishment he faces could be the death penalty, life imprisonment or a maximum of 20 years in prison.
