Jakarta, VIVA – The Jakarta Universal Election Commission (KPU) will announce on Sunday, September 22, 2024, the determination of the regional leader pairs that will compete in the 2024 Jakarta presidential election.

Astri Megatari, a member of KPUD Jakarta, said her party would hold an internal plenum in the morning before announcing the decision.
“Tomorrow’s event in the office, the plenary session to determine the candidate pairs, will begin with a closed plenary session followed by an announcement,” Astri confirmed to reporters on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Then, once identified, a security transfer will take place from Polda Metro Jaya to the Candidate Pair Team (Paslon). Meanwhile, there are three candidates for governor and deputy governor of Jakarta in the 2024 regional elections.

The three candidate couples are Ridwan Kamil-Suswono, Pramono Anun-Rano Karno and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana.
“Then, at 2:00 p.m., a plenary meeting was held at the Grand Mercure Kemayoran hotel to determine the PPD,” Astri said.
According to information received, KPUD Jakarta will hold a closed-door session to determine the candidate pairs for Jakarta Governor and Deputy Governor at 09:00.
Then, at 11:00 a.m., the identification of the pairs of candidates for Governor and Vice Governor will take place, as well as the assignment of the working group to accompany the pairs of candidates.
Meanwhile, the draw and serial numbering of the candidate pairs is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 23, 2024 at the KPU Office in DKI Jakarta at 19:00 WIB.
