Pramono-Rano poll results begin to put RK-Suswono and Jakarta regional election second round open for chances

Jakarta, VIVA – The Indonesian Research Institute (LSI) has released the latest survey of gubernatorial and vice-gubernatorial candidates who will compete in the 2024 Jakarta presidential election.

The name of DKI Jakarta gubernatorial candidate Ridwan Kamil (RK) attracts 53.9% of DKI Jakarta residents. Meanwhile, the name of Pramono Anun came in second with 20.8% and independent candidate Dharma Pongrekun came in third with 3.3%.

Commenting on this, political observer and CEO of Indonesian Parameters, Adi Prayitno, said that the Pramono-Rano pair still has a chance and Rano Karno is the key to increasing the selection of this pair.

“This means that Rana is a factor in Pram’s vote increase. Anyway, Rana has been popular for a long time and his influence is quite evident,” he said in a written statement on Friday, September 20, 2024.

On another occasion, Pramono said he was surprised by the survey results he received. In the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada competition, Pramono admitted that he started from 0. However, after a few social days, his survey number rose to 28.4 percent.

“I started with 0 percent, it’s only been a week and I’m already at 28.4 percent, what does that mean? The community has been incredibly supportive, I thought I would still be at tens of percent, but it turns out that it’s already at 28.4 percent,” Pramono said in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

Adi Praitno added that the pair still had a lot of work to do to improve their skills and that the target of 2 rounds was very reasonable.

“You have to work hard. Go down and convince people. Because RK is aiming for one round,” he said.

“At least this can avoid a round of RK. It is reasonable. And Pram-RK will move on to the second round. There they will be able to freely fight for victory,” he said.
