Jakarta – A total of 34 Regional Leadership Councils (DPW) of the Youth Liaison Agency of the Indonesian Mosques (BKPRMI) across Indonesia are supporting and calling on Datuk H Said Aldi Al Idrus to accept returning to the position of General President of the DPP BKPRMI for 3 terms. This support was expressed at the 14th national conference of BKPRMI (Munas).

DPW BKPRMI West Sulawesi (Sulbar) Chairman Suardi said that since Saeed Aldi led BKPRMI, there has been staff movement and development of DPW and DPD BKPRMI throughout Indonesia. According to him, the training movement was good.
Suardi admitted that he had approached DPW BKPRMI bosses across Indonesia about the proposal to return Said Aldi to the position of DPP General Chairman.

“They agree with this proposal by Datuk Said Aldi to return the BKPRMI leader for 3 terms and it will be presented at the 14th National Conference in Medan in early August 2024,” Suardi said on Monday, July 15, 2024.

Chairman of the DPP BKPRMI Datuk H Said Aldi Al Idrus.
He said that all BKPRMI staff throughout Indonesia salute and are proud of Said Aldi’s ideas and leadership. For him, Said Aldi never tires of participating in various social and humanitarian activities.
Meanwhile, BKPRMI DPP Vice Chairman Sedek Rahmon Bakhta said his party agrees with the DPW’s proposal. According to him, the BKPRMI Public Prosecutor’s Office also had contact with elderly people.
He salutes Ketum Said Aldi for fulfilling his mission. Moreover, according to him, several people such as Komjen Paul (retd) Syafruddin, Idrus Markham and Bahlil Lahadalia agree with Saeed Aldi that they are ready to return as the General President of DPP BKPRMI for 2024-2028.
However, he said that Said Aldi is not satisfied with the three-year term of office for the time being, because it goes against the organisational rules. According to the statutes of the association, the president of the People’s Democratic Party can only serve two terms.
“Their wish in the coming period is for young BKPRMI staff, who will become general leaders,” Sedek said.
