Surya Paloh admitted that he discussed the cabinet with Prabowo 3 times

Jakarta, VIVA – NasDem party Chairman General Surya Paloh has admitted that he met with 2024 President-elect Prabowo Subianto to discuss cabinet ministers.

Surya Paloh said he does not expect the post of minister of ministers in Prabowo’s government in the 2024-2029 period. He told Prabowo to give priority to other political parties to enter the cabinet.

“I gave an honest answer to Pak Prabowo, NasDem gave him and everyone a chance. policy “Their policy is to give preference to all political parties outside the NasDem to be included in the cabinet,” Paloh said.

Surya Paloh claimed to know that NasDem Party did not support Prabowo from the beginning during the 2024 presidential election, so NasDem took a stance in accordance with political ethics.

“As we know, morally, it was not us who fought for Pak Prabowo’s support in the presidential election from the beginning. This is a process of political education and ethics that we want to continue. Even if we cannot do it completely,” he said.

Surya Paloh further said that the NasDem Party still respects all of Prabowo’s decisions in deciding the ranks of his cabinet. He feels honored if Prabowo considers entering the NasDem cabinet.
