The price of Wuling Air EV Lite is now cheaper than that of the Seres E1 electric car

Jakarta, VIVA – Seres E1, which holds the title of low-cost small electric car in Indonesia, now loses to Wuling Air ev. Because Wuling Motors Indonesia has officially reduced the price of the standard Air ev Lite range.

The price drop cannot be separated from the launch of the Wuling Air ev Lite Long Range at a price of IDR 190 million (including VAT benefits for the Jakarta region). The Air ev Lite Long Range has a range of up to 300 kilometers on a full battery charge.

As a result, the price of the standard Air ev Lite range has dropped to IDR 179.1 million (with concessions). This means that the Air ev Lite is now cheaper than the Seres E1, which is priced at IDR 189 for the lowest variant.

“Therefore, around IDR 190 million for the new version, Lite (mileage) 200 km will be promoted around IDR 180 million,” Liu Yan, marketing operations director of Wuling Indonesia in Jakarta, said recently.

The Air ev Lite is the lowest variant of the Air ev model and previously had a range of just 200 km. But now it comes with a long-range variant that has a higher capacity battery and can travel 300 km.

“Air ev Lite Long Range can travel up to 300 kilometers on a full battery charge. This gives users more peace of mind. Another advantage of Wuling Air ev Lite Long Range is the Lite price at a special price,” he said.

The Wuling Air ev Lite Long Range is powered by a 26.7kWh IP67-rated lithium ferrophosphate (LFP) battery. In terms of performance capabilities, this Air ev Lite variant is also backed by a 30kW electric motor with 110Nm of torque.

In terms of safety features, this electric car is equipped with airbags, ABS, EBD, tire pressure warning system (TPMS), pedestrian alert sound module, ISOFIX and reinforced steel structure.

In addition, the Wuling Air ev Lite Long Range uses a 7-inch full-color TFT display, an ergonomic rotary gear selector and a choice of 3 driving modes, Normal, Sport and Eco.
