Yusuf Hamka nominated as deputy governor of Jakarta Golkar: He is a good person, his capital is various achievements

Jakarta – The Golkar Party is confident of nominating businessman Yusuf Hamka as a gubernatorial candidate in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election.

Golkar DPP Chairman Dave Laksono explained the reason why his party supported Yusuf Hamka to run for the 2024 regional elections because he was able to overcome several problems in Jakarta. Dave said that Yusuf Hamka also has several achievements.

“I believe that with the capital of his various achievements that can solve various problems, with this capital he can definitely solve Jakarta’s problems,” Dave said on Monday, July 15, 2024.

According to him, the figure of an experienced businessman, known as Baba Alun, has become the main asset of Jakarta’s complex leadership in solving community problems.

Dave cited Yusuf Hamka’s achievements, including providing free education and establishing a free feeding program for poor residents. Baba Alun’s efforts had helped him solve a number of problems.

“He has managed to solve a number of problems, such as building toll roads, for example, speeding up and also providing educational assistance. He is a good person,” Dave said.

He also confirmed that Yusuf Hamka is a Golkar staff member. He rejected the idea that road construction leaders are not part of the party cadres.

Dave said that Yusuf Hamka was one of the people who made Golkar a success.

“He Yusuf Hamka is not new to the Golkar Party. He was a member of the Golkar Party several times in previous periods,” he said.

He denied rumours that Yusuf Hamka is only joining Golkar and is not a real player. It is said that he is not a real cadre or a member of the Golkar party, because he is a person who holds a position in the Golkar party, Dave said.
